Zoom Prayer Meeting Etiquette

1. Mute your microphone. To help keep background noise to a minimum, make sure you mute your microphone when you are not praying.
2. Be engaged. Consider taking some time BEFORE the meeting to have a personal devotion time. This will help prepare your heart to pray with others.
3. Be respectful. In meetings like these, there tends to be silence in between prayers. That’s ok. Don’t feel like you have to fill those times with words. Usually, others are trying to get the boldness to pray in a community setting but often do not get the space to do so.
4. Location, location, location. If you can, find a quiet and non-distracting place to set up your device. Do a quick camera check before you join to make sure the lighting is right and there are not things that might distract others in your background.
