1. A Unified Prayer / vs. 23-24a

All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.  Acts 1:14

  • What do we collectively want?
2. A Jesus Centered Prayer / vs. 24b-27

I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.  Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. Psalm 2:7-8

3. A trusting Prayer / vs. 27-28

In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7

4. A Bold Prayer / vs. 29-31

-This changes everything, add a request for boldness to these and you get REVIVAL!!
