Don’t conform, but transform

- Isn’t it good news that Jesus wants us to have joy? Not just any joy, but HIS joy.

- Ungodly mindset or worldview.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, Romans 12:2a
Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4

vs. 15, Be in the world, not of it.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:3–4
- Keep them from the evil one means keep them from the blindness that would keep you from seeing the “light of the gospel of the glory of CHrist”.
- Jesus is praying this, let’s pray with him!
