READ ACTS  2:12-4

• A. What Does this mean?
  • a. Review, Disciples, those who hear, & those who mock
  • Whenever Christians do things out of the ordinary, people mumble and some ask questions.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

SLIDE– …in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.  1 Peter 3:15-16

Slide-For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

• Who do we proclaim?
  • “This Jesus”, who we crucified and God raised.
• We are witnesses
• There’s a plan to proclaim this Jesus… 

3. This Jesus

• 1. Lord & Christ
  • a. Lord- No man may serve 2 masters…
    • 1. God
    • 2. Judge, but also….
  • b. Christ- The anointed one, Hebrew equivalent of Messiah.

SLIDE- Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” And Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: Matthew 11:2-4

B. What shall we do? 

• 1. Repent & Be baptized (GOSPEL)
• 2. Keep in step with the Spirit
• 3. BELIEVE (received his Word)
